The Lodge is part of the Bagshaw Lodge of Instruction, and uses this for its members to practice and rehearse the ceremonies. There are specific dates for Thomas Ralling Rehearsals on the weeks preceding the regular meetings. The Bagshaw Lodge of Instruction meets most Friday evening at the Loughton Masonic Centre from 8:00 pm, with the exception of the summer months and bank holidays.

The Bagshaw Lodge of Instruction celebrated 125 years continuous working on Friday 24th May 2013, and serves a number of Lodges who meet at the Loughton Masonic Centre who work the Emulation Ritual.
